>Is the problem set #2 due on September 30th or on October 2 since the professor will lecture the section of "the present value of future results: Discounting" on the 30th ?

hi there. the problem sets are always due the day indicated on the top of the problem set page. in other words, #2 is due 9/30. that's why prof. kleiman made the comment about not expecting you to have them 100% correct all the time, and will drop the 2 lowest grades. also, that's why it's so important to use your study groups.

>Also, do you have office hours during this quarter?

i will have set office hours, but i won't know what they will be until the classes i'm taking determine their discussion section meeting times. i should know this monday. in the meantime, if you'd like to make an appointment, just send me an email and we can arrange a time.

Reserve Materials:
Choice and Consequence by Thomas Schelling, A Primer for Policy Analysis by Edith Stokey and Richard Zeckhauser, as well as the Course Reader, are on reserve at Powell College Library, NOT the YRL. (The YRL would not allow me to put them on reserve there because the course is an undergraduate one.)

Also- in response to the question about hand-writing problem sets, that's perfectly OK, as long as they are written neatly.
